Dr Pedro Mayoral Sanz

Dr. Pedro Mayoral Sanz is a highly experienced Dental Sleep Medicine specialist with more than 15 years of clinical and academic expertise focused on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disordered breathing. His work integrates advanced dental protocols with sleep medicine principles to provide evidence-based, patient-centered therapeutic solutions, particularly in oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea. 

Dr. Mayoral has authored and co-authored over 20 scientific publications in leading international peer-reviewed journals and currently serves as a reviewer for Sleep and Breathing. He is an active member of the Scientific Committee of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), contributing to the advancement of clinical standards and research development within the specialty. 

In addition to his clinical and research activity, Dr. Mayoral is the Director of the Master’s Program in Dental Sleep Medicine at UCAM University, where he leads postgraduate education and professional training programs. His combined expertise in clinical practice, scientific research, and academic leadership positions him as a key international reference in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine.
